Great skates but minor details to have in account Review by Mgl
Bought these in early 2017 after 3 years of looking into SEBA. My usage is: Urban, freestyle & slalom
Great skates, great build, generally comfortable, good control, perfect carbon boot but there are a couple details to have in mind giving my experience.

Carbon Shell: perfect
Liners: very good and comfortable
Frames are great
Brake: Best break I tired but I am no longer using it
Bearings: Better than the typical ABEC found on K2
Cuff: Is plastic and if you decide to get into slalom i would advise the carbon cuff.
Closures: The Velcro and middle straps are good but the not the top

Top strap wears out fast and starts to get harder to unbuckle from the cuff lock after some usage. Some times I have to fight it to pull it out of the lock on the cuff side.
Also the metal adjustment (locker) that is on the cuff has 2 screws to attache to the the cuff. These screws eventually start roughing on top of the shoe laces pressing them against the boot grommet and or the boot and this results in cut laces sooner or later. This happened to me mostly on the right foot. Adjusting the cuff does not solve the problem.
To solve this issue I made small heavy duty duct tape pad to cover those screws.
SEBA should solve this issue but having the strap lock made differently or having a screw protective pad of some sort.

The black 'leather looking like' abrasive pads from the inner side of the skates, wear out and rip fast if you start doing lots of tricks such as sliding stops, some slalom and even just falling. To solve this issue, I made heavy duty duct tape pads and taped them on top of the manufacturer wimpy pads.
The outside plastic abrasive pads are great and something similar but thinner should be on inner side too. The default pads are wimpy and almost pointless.

These were the 3rd pair of skates I ever bought and upgrading from $150 mens K2 and there is no comparison.
If/when I buy another pair i will be looking for improvement of these lesser details that were mentioned and them I think I see the perfect skate.
Carbon cuff, better top strap but not Velcro and the inner side abrasive pads.
