Transformer Freestyle Inline Blade is a unique solution by Inline Ice Blades that allows converting your favorite rollerblades into recreational Ice Skates in minutes and with a minimal investment. These ice blades can be mounted on majority of the inline frames that designed to accommodate 72mm through 90mm wheels (frames up to 280mm long) that do not have large gaps between the wheels.

These blades will work the best for a majority of the skaters and will provide a very similar feel on ice like you have on wheels. Freestyle Ice Blades will be perfect for the regular ice skating as well as for practicing Freestyle, Slalom, and Artistic skating skills while on the ice.

Please note: these ice blades are recommended to be used on the hockey inline skates as well. To verify if they will work for your skates, please take a look at the drawing bellow.

In the package: a pair of Transformer Inline Ice blades with a set of 16 Aluminum spacers for an increased durability and power transfer.

For your reference: Each blade weight approx. 150gr. For comparison, a full set of 80mm wheels (4 wheels, 8 bearings, and 4 spacers) taken off an inline skate would weight around 440gr. So you can calculate an approximate weight of your future ice skate by extracting 290gr from the total current weight of your inline skate.

We do strongly recommend to sharpen the blades at your local ice skating pro-shop! In order to do so, please bring the ice blades before mounting them on the frames!

Great option instead of transporting both inline & hockey boots Review by Douglas
Received them quickly, and took them to my skate shop to be sharpened (as per the manual). My shop says they were soft and difficult to get a good edge on. They were easy to fit to the skates, and skated well. I had to be conscious that the toe end tended to dig in rather than rolling, but after a little practice, all is good. I travel with my skates a fair amount, and it's great to have multiple options for minimum luggage space. (Posted on 10/12/2016)
Unmistakeable value for road skaters Review by Joshua
If you already own inline skates and want to go ice skating, why waste money on rentals or a pair of ice skates that can ONLY be used on ice?

These blades will pay for themselves in as few as 10 to 15 visits to a skating rink that charges for rentals.

Keep in mind that ice skating blades need to be sharpened periodically, and you want to have them done by a professional. The cut of your edges is crucial. (Posted on 2/11/2016)
